Catalina 350 International Association

Can anyone describe or provide photos of the rigging required for the use of an assymetrical sail? More specifically:

1) Can I use the spare jib halyard on the port side to hoist the sail? If so, then it can only be used on the port side? How do I set it up for use on boths sides?
2) What kind of rigging (and what size) do I need in the cockpit to handle the sheets and where would it be located? So I need to mount anything to the deck/hull?

I have the sail but am not sure how it works and the Catalina manual is not clear on this, especially for an assymetrical sail.
