I know, I could search my manuals and MAYBE find the answer but it is so much easier to simply ask the members. Besides, I think my having to pay $200/month to Ken seems that I deserve an answer once in awhile.

ps. I assume all of our members are also paying this monthly charge? If not, it is obvious that he is a Georgia Bulldog fan and I am a former Gator Professor....

Hi Dave,

I don't recognise the tray at all, and especially where it is located, but if your question is about "what is the tubing", I would have suspected that it was meant to drain any water collecting in tray into the bilge? Although given that it appears to rise upwards inside the cabin makes it very unclear.

So, no use I am afraid, but will be interested to find out where it lives and what is its purpose.

The clam shell is on the ceiling of the aft cabin directly below the helm. The tubing catches any water that might get in the helm and drains it to the bilge rather than on the aft cabin matress.

Perfect! Thanks At first I thought it was a bathtub drain for the live aboard mice.
