Hi. Is there as CORRECT way to sail with a flexifold 3-blade prop when the engine is off? In gear? out of gear? reverse?
I noticed that if it is in neutral, I can hear the shaft turning slowly.

Yes, while sailing put the engine in reverse. This will stop the prop rotation and cause the blades to fully fold back.

thanks! I was doing that, but got scared about undue load on the transmission. (or so I heard.....)
