Good Morning. I have read the previous posts on here IRT deadlights. I am hoping for updates.
In regards to the non opening windows. Have any of you had any success in sealing small leaks on the non opening salon windows without taking the window out and rebeding?
What did you use as a sealant?
Have you tried Capt Tolleys Crack Repair?
How about 3m 4200 adhesive sealant? This is the non permanent type.
How about Dow #795 or is it #745?

Have any of you pushed the window out and rebeded it? Did you use the instructions from Catalina for replacing windows to rebed the window?
Are they plexiglass or lexan or something else?
Thanks

You can use the same material that the boat was made with Butyl caulking tape. Available from Defender Marine, part #755908RE2WHI, Lifesafe Butyl Caulking Tape $18. I found it dries out after about 10 years. Have had to replace the caulking in about a third of the windows.
