I've read several threads discussing the calcium build up in the head discharge line to the holding tank. On other sites I have read about using rigid PVC sanitation pipe instead of the hose we now have. Has anyone done this or considered this? Rigid PVC would certainly seem to have less likelihood of eventually being permeated and having a strong smell, but there would likely be non-smooth areas in the line at elbows, or where you join hose to it in some locations. I'm not sure whether the rigid PVC would be less susceptible to the calcium build up. I haven't researched it, but I would suspect the rigid PVC would be less expensive as well.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
