Fuel Gauge Not Working

I recently had marine electronics/electrician on my boat to repair an issue with the transmission quality on my VHF. Turned out to be a damaged connection at the VHF unit, which the local VHF service center fixed. The next time I'm on the boat, the remote mic in the cockpit is dead. He apparently failed to connect it when he reinstalled the VHF, which he returned to fix. The next time on the boat, my fuel gauge is not working. Before I start questioning the repair guy, is the fuel gauge wiring anywhere near my nav table panel, and is it possible this guy messed up the fuel gauge connection?
