This weekend, I noticed spider cracks in the gelcoat around the base of the port and starbord stantions that begin the stern railings. I know there has not been any unusual stress applied to the stern railings to cause damage. My boat is a 2005 model and commissioned March 2005. Do any of you have similar stantion spidering in your gelcoar?

I have the same situation around the pulpit post on the starboard side. It was fixed by the dealer last year and cracked again in exactly the same place this year. I also have a couple of spider cracks in my non-skid. Has anyone had these repaired and looked good after? My dealer has advised against repairing them since it is so difficult the make the repair blend in.

I have gel coat cracks all over my boat. Some have appered under the non skid. I am scheduled to bring the boat to my dealer next month for repairs. I will keep you posted.
