I didn't see a heading for this and unless the cockpit is enclosed completely, I couldn't ask my question on the Cabin Forum.
Anyway, when a brother (former, since I tossed him overboard) drops the winch handle and makes a small scrape/pit on the cockpit floor, what is the best way to "repair" it? That gray color is the thing that makes it more difficult to match.
thanks

Re: Cockpit Forum
Dave,
I had the same problem last year. I called Catalina and they sold me some grey polyester gel coat that was a match for the deck and cockpit floor.
Mixed some catalyst and dabbed the spot to fill the chips, I used a 1/2" brush with the bristles cut very short to dab the gelcoat on the spots to give a textured finish. Be sure to clean the spot with acetone before applying. I like the results.
