Cockpit shower housing

Post by sargentef »

Our cockpit shower housing/ enclosure has become very brittle. The door has cracked around the edges and will not last the season! The plumbing portion works fine.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, have you found a source for a new housing?

Hi Erik,

I found the exact part from a US supplier a year or so ago, bought just the enclosure because mine had become brittle like yours. Exact replacement but don't have receipt with me at present, will post as soon as I get home, in about a week.

Hi Erik,

Eureka! I found it. https://ssicustomplastics.com/products/ ... ry&path=66

The 350 is fitted with the 486 sized shower box, and SSI were kind enough to sell me just the box as a "special item" and it cost USD35.00 in 2012.

It was described on the invoice as "Specialitem 48600000BOX"

Regards and good luck :P :P :P

Hey Russ,
Thank you very much. I am going to the boat tomorrow to confirm the cutout dimensions and will order ASP!!
I will write a follow up for this forum to keep the members updated on my efforts.
