I have a very difficult time cleaning the non-skid on my boat. My old Catalina 34 had the "waffle" pattern type of non-skid and it cleaned much easier.
I need to select a product that will clean well but won't take the wax off the rest of the boat.
Does anyone have a favorite product/technique for cleaning non-skid?

non-skid cleaning
Hi Ken,
We all share the same issue. My old 36 also had the waffle pattern and it cleaned well. I notice that this texture just holds on longer but I eventually wear the "spots" out after two or more cleanings. On the boarding area, I have a hand brush for the elbow grease approach. For my more industrious times, I use a spray cleaner from MacQuiers (okay, really screwed that up!) which sits for some time and then rinses off. Does okay.

I use Spic & Span powder cleaner. Put it in a shaker and wet the boat, sprinkle on cleaner and scrub then rinse. Seems to have enough grit and soap to clean the spider, bug and bird poo without harming the wax.
Good luck
