Is the hull number the last three digits of the hin??

The hull number is the first set of digits of the HIN--not the last.

Our HIN is CTYV0243_ _ _ _ _ .

The hull number is 0243 (or 243)--the first digits following CTYV.

The hull number is also on the Catalina builder's plate under the companion way opening on the cockpit side on ours.
