Spillover fan wiring

Post by Barbara »

The spillover fan had stopped working a while ago. We removed it to repair or replace it. After several failed attempts to repair it, we finally purchased a replacement. It's been a while, though, and we now have lost any recollection of the wiring sequence. Has anyone done this and know the wiring setup? Or have a picture of your current setup? Where the power comes from, how it connnects to the dial control, etc. Thanks so much.

I assume by now you've figured it out, but the fan can be replaced with any fan for a computer tower that matches the amp draw (easy to find on amazon). It's a DC fan, so just attach the pos and neg leads, and if the fan blows the correct direction your good to go...if not reverse the leads...simple. Mine failed about ten years ago, so far the replacement (meant for a computer) is still going strong.
