Does anyone have their GPS connected to their VHF? If so, did the dealer do it as part of the commissioning package?

I made the connection myself as my boat originally came without the GPS installed.

GPS to VHF connection

I made the connection myself. My VHF was missing the necessary pigtail wire attachment, but Standard Horizin provided one upon request. I then took an NMEA out feed from my chartplotter system to it (Raymarine c80).
