power winches

Does anyone know if the cabin top winch can be converted to a power winch without installing a new winch.

I have looked into the winch conversion as well. It seems as though it is possible with the Harken 40's My coachtop starboard has a 38. As I will need to replace the winch. My question is do I get reversing. Seems it is easy enough to ease a line.
