Winter Cover

Post by Air Mobility »

I am looking for a winter cover to replace the Home Depot blue tarps that presently cover my boat. Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop that makes one that covers the entire deck, up to, but not over the toe rail? Air Mobility is on the hard in the northern Chesapeake. Mail order is fine as long as you had a good experience.

Thanks

The Canvas Store

Post by jdamann »

Like you I used a variety of colored tarps for several years.....at the end of which they were trash. I got lucky this year and found someone selling a 3 year old custom cover for our 350. It was made by the Canvas Store in Long Island, N.Y. out of what is called Top Gun. It is a very durable material and the cover fits perfect. My dock neighbor just purchased a brand new one of these covers for his Beneteau 373, it was $2500.00. I think this cover will easily last 10 or more years and is well worth the money.
