Garhauer Adjustable Genoa Cars

Post by ps23435 »

Greetings. Has anyone installed the Garhauer adjustable cars? We are considering it but wonder what other's experience has been...worth the cost? Can you just install with the existing car tracks?

Thanks!

I installed the Garhauer cars 2 years ago. They go on the existing tracks, no problems. They should be installed from the bow end of the tracks. They are particularly useful when reefing the genoa. When the winds are up, over 15-20, I do not like leaving the cockpit to move the cars. I would buy them again.

feel that gennie cars are one of the great safety and convenience items that you can add to a boat.
