Raymarine ST 60 Wind instrument display removal

We had a near lightning strike and lost our wind instrument data at the helm [direction/speed].
Went up the mast and removed the wind vane and it bench tested out OK with local marine electronics store.
They suggest I now remove the display at the pedestal/helm so they can beck test it, which I have never done.
Any suggestions on how to remove it will be appreciated.
Looking at the manual it looks like just two thumb-nuts on the back side of the display.
