Bill,
No sorry, I don't. Just pull them up to snug (to engine stringer). More on nut on top (appropriate for diameter of threads).

Re: Idle RPM Vibration
Yes, checking engine mount fastener torque should be done at oil change intervals. Engine mount to stringer and the top nut. If very loose, a good idea to re-check shaft (actually flange) alignment. Also, if you have a lot of unexplained dust in the engine room, may be time for a new dampener plate-...

Start by removing the aerator from the sink faucet. It may be clogged.

Re: Water pump under sink won’t pressurize
With water in the tank and the undersink valve on the tank you filled, open a faucet and turn on the pump. Much easier for the pump to prime with a faucet open.

Jim,
Exactly what gasket/seal product did you use?
And, absolutely let us know if it reduces compressor run time.

Re: Transmission Fluid Level - 16oz, or 18.56oz ?
I have always used the dipstick, as it is unlikely that you will pump out every last drop of the old fluid. So, fill volume will change somewhat depending on what remains. Agree, it is hard to see on the dipstick. Run your finger down the dipstick until it gets wet to tell the level OR use a strong ...

I agree with Bill.
To be useful from the helm, a placement forward would require that you have EAGLE -LIKE vision and don't want to do any inputs to it.

Contact Warren Pandy at Catalina with your hull number.

But, with all the props Flex O Fold has sold for Catalina 350's, I am surprised they don't know.

Re: Reverse Polarity
Gary, Pull out your ohm meter. And, with the ends unplugged, compare male prong to female slot location of hot/neutral/ground between the known good and the one that shows reverse polarity. Also, check for direct contact/short/low ohm reading between prongs-- there should be none (no contact between...

Kenny,
NO, "These are not only large in number but very long and went in both directions." are NOT common on the Catalina 350, at least not on the 2003 model. And, ours is not a "dock queen".

Re: Engine coolant drain locations
You will have to bleed the air out of the coolant system after filling. The obvious place to do this is the bleed vale on the thermostat housing. But, that is not the highest point. There is also a bleed value on the water heater, which believe it or not is higher up. If you do not do this you may ...

Re: How load test 6V Golf Cart Batteries When Out Of Boat
The reason you haven't been able to find someone to test your 6v deep cycle batteries is because it's not an easy task to do that. They have ratings based on a steady discharge at a measured rate, so you'll find a spec for discharge at the 20 hour discharge rate. That means, if you set up a test be...

Re: How load test 6V Golf Cart Batteries When Out Of Boat
I would contact Walmart, Sams, Cosco or any golf cart service facility. All of them routinely sell and should be able to test your 6 VDC batteries. Be aware that they must be fully charged to accurately test them with either a load test or hydrometer. And, if all you have is a 12 VDC charger, hook u...

My heater is also on the starboard side but found that removing the STARBOARD locker shelf didn't provide adequate access. Once the PORT shelf is removed there is ample room to move to the starboard side and work on the heater. Agree. Depending on the size of the individual and their flexibility, a...

Metz is a VERY common brand of marine antenna. Should be able to get a replacement whip at any West Marine or other marine store.

Unscrew the "tops". Soak in white vinegar/clean. Reinstall.

Re: VHF antenna replacement
What brand/model is the antenna.
Catalina does not make them-- it will be a common marine VHF antenna.
Once you know the brand/model, should be easy to determine who it is attached.
