Cabin Top Electric Winch

After sailing in the Exumas with friends for 2 weeks, the Admiral has decided on an electric winch. She loved it and we had many opportunities to see it in action. My question for those who already have an electric winch installed; what size works well on our C350 sailboats and which make is preferr...

Re: Sheet Music 284 Sold

Frank, Deb and I have learned so much from this community and it helped us to make our choice in purchasing #330. We, too plan to sail her and love her until such time that we physically can no longer sail. Our hearts go out to you and we wish you well, fellow sailor!

Re: Changing Raymarine E80 to Garmin

Cuthbert, we are headed to the boat on Saturday and I will check our system to get more info so I know what I'm dealing with. I thank you for your very informative response and as always, I appreciate those who have experience to pass on to others.

Changing Raymarine E80 to Garmin

I am curious about the possibility of changing our Raymarine E80 to a Garmin chartplotter. Also, I would like to know if anyone here has found a Garmin system that is "plug and play" regarding compatibility with the other Raymarine components such as radar and the like. I appreciate the ex...

Hatch Lens Replacement

Hi guys, good evening to one and all! I have a question concerning a replacement hatch lens. On our 2004 model boat, the starboard salon hatch was cracked through the hinge holes at some point and was repaired so that it didn't leak. In ordering a replacement lens from Catalina Direct, I assumed it ...

Re: Bimini Expansion Panel

Hey, Thanks everybody for your replies! We had our first cruise today with our kids (all adults) and sailed out of the Rappahannock river to the Chesapeake bay. Nice wind, beautiful water and great company! We love our boat, it's just what we were looking for. However, it would help to have more sha...

Bimini Expansion Panel

Hi everyone, we are trying to find a good source for the canvas panel which attaches to the bimini and extends to the dodger. Both the bimini and the dodger appear to be factory items on our boat. I have looked everywhere online and can't locate one. I appreciate any help in finding one!

Loss of water/pressure from tank

Greetings to all! My wife and I purchased a well loved and well maintained creampuff of a 2004 Catalina 350 from Greig and Linda Mitchell. She is hull number 330 and was lying in Cambridge Maryland. After much preparation and learning as much as we could about the boat, we set sail on Thursday morni...
