Re: Sad day with mixed emotions-sold our C350
Smooth sailing skipper! We sail our C350 (#417 Raise MeUp) in Mid coast Maine now, after 15 years on Lake Texoma.Like Ave Maria, she has never let us down of her own accord! Since you are moving to a C385, I for one vote for allowing you to remain "in the family!" Jeff Thurston Dallas, Tx ...

Replacing spliced roller furling line
We recently shipped our Catalina 350 RAISE ME UP from Lake Texoma to mid coastal Maine at Bucks Harbor Yacht club. The boat yard at Lake Texoma cut through the roller furling line before removing the mast for shipment. The roller furling line is spliced in a continuous loop, and while a boat can be ...

Concrete Mooring weight
We are about to move our C350 Raise Me Up from Lake Texoma to our home on the coast of Maine. We’ve had various sized boats on my mooring in the cove there, since we’ve had the house for over100 years in the family, the largest of which was an Island Packet 32 weighing 11,500 pounds. My C350 weighs ...

Re: Electric Winch
Raise Me Up 417 on Lake Texoma was equipped with roller furling main and electric Haarken winch, the motor for which is accessible above the screw plate above the AC vent on the starboard side. Unfortunately ours just seized after 13 years and got on notice board to see if anyone had replaced a moto...

Re: Maxwell 800 Windlass
I’m guessing this may not help except in an obverse sort of way! I have hull 417 a 2006 C350 with the same windless. I’ve never added oil and it works without a hitch. The point being it should never leak! (Maybe mine is due to start any minute!)

Re: Working jib - 100/110%
We sail RAISE ME UP #417 on Lake Texoma with winds frequently 15-25 except during August doldrums. I removed my 135 and replaced with a 110 foam luff with leech and foot line. (U/S Sail from Catalina direct) She sails beautifully and I have to reef much less often. Cat 350 never a great pointer but ...

Re: Sirius XM InstallXM Install
Hi guys! We have hull#417 on Lake Texoma and our Sirius attennae is afixed to the port aft pulpit upper rail as you see in this close up. It is wired through a hole drilled into the rail and threaded into the space below the port seat locker and up behind the instrument panel at the nav station. Our...

Headsail replacement
I noticed North does not have the C350 sails as stock and they must be custom ordered. What manufacturer has our headsails as stock? I have only my 150 Genoa and would like a 110 most of the winter here in windy north Texas!
Thanks,
Jeff Thurston

Dodger snaps
Does anybody know if the metal posts in the fiberglass on which the Dodger snaps fit are after market or Caralina or who makes them? Our 2007 350 came with a full Dodger in addition to the Bimini. But several of these posts for the snaps have either pulled out or the heads have snapped off. Any expe...

Richard,
Do you know if your pedestal guard was 9 1/2 " or 12 1/2" diameter with the 1 1/8" tubing?

Pedestal Guard diameter
Anybody know the pedestal guard diameter on the 2007 Catalina 350? It's either 1 1/4 " or 1 1/8" and I am ordering a snap on drink holder from Edson. Nobody seems to know, Catalina or Edson. My boats a 3 hour round trip so I was hoping not to run out and measure it, but someone at Marina c...

Re: Wind generator
I looked into this as well to run AC when cruising in an anchorage overnight. We're on Lake Texoma and it gets a little warm in the summer. Everything I heard said that models available were not only cumbersome but noisey. Have you actually purchased a wind generator and if so which one and from who...
