Did you finally solve problem? I have same issue. Temp gauge goes to 240 when turning on ignition and stays there. Did gauge test as per universal manual. All OK. Ran new wire from sender to gauge, no difference. Where did you check voltage?

Yes, you can drain system from manifold. I have used following procedure for last five years without any difficulties. Pump both water tanks dry, disconnect feed from tanks to pump, suck any surplus water from from feed with "shop vac" , use short piece of hose to jump cold feed to hot wat...

Taliesin, Hull #341, has an ICOM IC M402A VHF installed, probably original equipment back in 2005. The plug in for the RAM mic on the side of the binnacle has broken beyond repair. Mic is model HM-127W Serial #0203409. ICOM have changed the design and the "plug in" fitting so no joy there....

I've had same problem with the cord in brace breaking. By the time Catalina gets a replacement to Canada it costs over $50. Ideas welcome for an alternate and a method to repair. I have noticed that there is less stress on cord if brace is folded downwards rather than upwards.
